David Demais-Behrens er 4.årsstuderende ved Læreruddannelsen Zahle og har overstået sin BA-eksamen med afhandlingen her.

Under titlen Historiebevidsthed eller Historiekanon? sættes den kommende historiekanon ind i et samfundsmæssigt og skolepolitisk perspektiv.
Selve problemformuleringen er: "Hvorfor har vi fra det kommende skoleår fået en Historiekanon i folkeskolen? Og hvilke konsekvenser kan den og de øvrige ændringer i Fælles Mål II tænkes at få for undervisningen i historiefaget?"

Fantastic idea for a post Nathan! Ben Fry’s Masters thesis “Organic Information Design” is also an essential read.. it is (expectedly) a lot looser than “Computational Information Design” and fun to read now considering how popular visualization has become. The history/precedents that he tracks in it reads as quite an essential list of early web based work and applications.Personally, I’m really excited to read Mike Danziger’s thesis. His writing at is fantastic so I look forward to seeing his more formal research.

In the second picture, some of the soldiers are wearing skullcaps,if you look closely. And the boots a re covered withdust,making color difficult to acertain.In picture 3, he boots are not visible.Nor are they in picture 4.Though as one looks at picture four, the soldier holding the baby appears to be a typical Israeli reservist.

only the first picture is of a sodlier in the IDF. aside from the boots, you can tell because in all of the other pictures, the sodliers are wearing typical camaflogue. the only camaflogue in the israeli uniform is on the helmet. the rest of their uniform is simple dark green. in addition, the IDF uses a different model of the gun that the US military uses. and finally, you can be sure that the first picture is of an IDF sodlier because the sodlier is petting a cat. if youve ever been to israel or the west bank, you know that there are thousands and thousands of stray cats. it is rare to walk down the street and not see many cats in allyways or sitting on the side of the sidewalk, etc. good pictures.
